Today I want to give you a heads up on something exciting we (and I’ll get to the who we are part shortly) are currently working on/developing.

Without going into too much detail I think many will agree when I say that the EUC community is great, it just is. It’s also a world of constant change and as such it can be hard to keep up.

Of course, that’s also one of the main reasons why we all love it, never a dull moment. Today’s pre-announcement is about a new community initiative combining multiple formats into one. EUC-X! A powerful platform bringing together some of the brightest minds in the game with only one goal… to help you get the most out of all things EUC.

Plural

First of all, EUC-X isn’t just one particular “thing” it’s serves as an umbrella, or platform from which multiple “side” projects will be initiated. For example, one of our main pillars will be formed around a bi-weekly podcast. Secondly, we are working on a EUC aggregation platform, which includes future plans to also include background intelligence enabling us to serve our users/members with EUC content more tailored to their needs.

There have also been talks about a vendor neutral event, or multiple even, I mean, aim big or go home, right? No details as of yet but man, if we get this thing going… just wow, trust me.

Growth

It’s still early days and we have a lot of work ahead of us but I know from personal experience (and so do all of my fellow community enthusiasts) that an idea born small can grow into something huge within a relatively short time-frame. I’m confident this will happen here as well.

One of the (main) reasons why I think this is going to be a success is because of the team behind it, and after reading the next paragraph, I’m sure you will to.

The (A) Team

EUC-X is a (Dutch) Non-Profit Foundation, registered at the chamber of commerce in the Netherlands. It’s Board members consist out of Eric van Klaveren, Jits Langedijk, and myself – Bas van Kaam.

The EUC-X advisory board and main Podcast crew consists out of Kees Baggerman, Johan van Amersfoort, and Ingmar Verheij. Of course, we might “chip-in” from time to time as well. Need I say more?!

Combined we have a ton of knowledge and experience when it comes to organizing event’s, podcasts, giving presentations, writing books and technical in-depth articles and much more, a true A–Team

If you would like to sponsor this great initiative, please drop us a line at [email protected] and we will be in contact ASAP. We still have a few interesting sponsor packages available.

Future plans and details are being forged as we speak. We’ll make sure to keep you updated as we roll along.

To be continued…

All the best,

X

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
