Throughout the next couple of weeks, we (Douglas Brown and myself) will launch a Twitter based survey consisting of 10 to 12 questions focussing on the Internet of Things, in general. As you might know, Twitter pols can consist out of 4 multiple choice answers, and of course the questions themselves canโt be too long either, making them easy to read and answer. Weโll also include the โotherโ option in the form of a reply to give a more detailed or open answer.
For now, weโre still working on the details. Nothing huge, but still, we want to give it some serious attention since the IoT will slowly change the world of IT as we know it today, and weโre here for the journey. Weโd love to know what you think.
Anyway, we hope to go โliveโ in one or two weeksโ time. Even though almost everybody is (going) on vacation, at least here in Europe, we still expect to get some interesting results. Twitter is easy to access, no matter where in world you are, and answering and/or retweeting a couple of poll questions only takes a couple of seconds, literally.
It would be greatly appreciated if you guys could help us out by answering the questions, and of course by also retweeting the poll questions we post. Once finished we will collect all questions and answers and put them together in a blog post, including a downloadable report to with it.
Some details regarding the survey. We are thinking about 10 to 12 questions, over a period of three weeksโ total. Every week we will post 4 questions, which will have a lifespan of 3 days.
To be continuedโฆ
Kind regards, Bas and Doug.
