As of today, Saturday the 13th of June 2015, Mick Glover and I are proud to present the FMA Internals Co-op. A co-operation between a seasoned Citrix veteran and an established community blogger and Citrix enthusiast. Which is sort of a unique combination as far as we know.

Before anything else, let’s start with a short introduction first.ย Mick has an impressive resume with almost 20 years in IT of which he spend the last 10 years at Citrix. He worked as an escalation engineer for 3 years before joining the ww readiness team back in 2009. He is an SME in XenDesktop, App Orchestration and UPM. He is also the author of the XD Tipster blog series over at blogs.citrix.com and is know on Twitter as @XDTipster.

Bio Mick Glover

As for me, well, hopefully you guys know me already, reading my blog posts and all :) And if not, please check out my โ€˜About meโ€™ section here at basvankaam.com, it will tell you all you need to know plus extraโ€™s.

So what is this FMA Internals thing you are talking about?

Although it is a relatively small announcement, it holds great potential as far as we are concerned. And besides that it keeps us on our toes, it’s good fun and our contribution to the community!

Together we will work on an extended series of FMA related blog posts and presentations. We will try to co-host when and wherever possible, but we are also realistic and know that this will probably be limited to once or twice a year. And thatโ€™s ok.

However, the blog series is another story. Interconnected as we are nowadays itโ€™s easy to exchange thoughts, have a look at each otherโ€™s work, share experiences, potential interesting topics and who knows what we come up with, we might surprise you.

We donโ€™t have an exact schedule in mind but we are planning on doing one FMA Internals related article per month, or 10 to 12 annually on average. Ranging from short announcements to detailed reviews, we got you covered. Youโ€™ll find them on basvankaam.com, Mickโ€™s own personal blog (coming shortly) and the citrix.com\blogs website. Look for our logo.

Thanks.

Bas & Mick.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown prmontserrat took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
